The Department

The department of INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEERING was established in the year 1998 with an intake of 60 students. The present intake is 30. The department has grown steadily and today it has 10 highly dedicated faculty and 120 students. The department organizes guest lectures, seminars, workshops and training programs with the help of industrial experts and reputed academicians to help students to keep abreast with the latest developments in the field of Instrumentation.

The department has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE New Delhi. The Department poses an excellent and progressive academic record. The Department has been producing good results with distinction and Ranks in University Examinations.

Every year the department organizes a national level technical symposium christened “SAI ICON” which attracts participation from numerous colleges from different parts of the country.

To cater the industrial needs and impart content beyond the syllabus, enhance the practical knowledge the department has signed MOU’s with several leading industrial organizations.

The Placement record of the department is excelling and is towering to almost 85% every year. Our students have been recruited in leading companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Infosys, Wipro, L&T Infotech, American Mega trends Incorporation, Mahendra British Telecom, Hexaware, Virtusa, Hewlett Packard, General Electricals, core companies like Invensys, saipem, Technip, Honeywell, Bosch Automation and few more to go.

We are regularly conducting Industrial visits for the benefit of students. Our students are enjoying the student section membership of various professional Bodies like ISTE,IETE.IEEE and ISA. our faculties are also members of various Professional bodies
